The Estudiantes team drew goalless as visitors against Huracán in a match corresponding to the second date of the Torneo Apertura of the Liga Profesional de Fútbol. The match took place at the Tomás Adolfo Duco stadium.

In a match that turned out to be lackluster, Erik Ramírez of Huracán had managed to score in the 16th minute of the first half, but his goal was disallowed for offside after VAR intervention, thus maintaining the initial score.

During the first half, Gastón Benedetti of Estudiantes received a red card in the 50th minute, leaving the team with ten players for the second half. On the other hand, former Boca player Cristian Medina made his debut in the La Plata team entering the second half in place of Tiago Palacios.

With this draw, the team coached by Eduardo Domínguez earned one point, placing themselves as the runner-up of Group A behind Banfield. Meanwhile, Frank Kudelka's team accumulated their second consecutive draw.

Regarding the development of the game, an error in the outgoing play of goalkeeper Matías Mansilla gave Huracán the opportunity to score first, but Franco Watson failed to capitalize on it. Later, a free kick hit the crossbar by Edwin Cetré did not allow Estudiantes to take the lead.

In the second half, Huracán had greater possession of the ball due to their numerical superiority from the red card in Estudiantes, but neither team managed to generate danger in the opposing area. The match ended without any changes in the score.

In upcoming matches, Estudiantes will face Racing, while Huracán will visit La Bombonera to play against Boca.
